Energia and Circle K are energy aware

Posted on: 01 Aug 2018

Participants pictured at an Energia Energy Awareness event hosted by Circle K Ireland as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, in their head office in Clonskeagh, Dublin.

The event featured the ‘Energia Pedal Power Challenge’ where participants used their own power to drive a Scalextric set, with the opportunity to win separate prizes for the male and female fastest lap. There were also Energia’s energy efficiency partners on hand with virtual reality headsets to show participants what the home of the future will look like, promote energy efficiency measures and offer staff the EEO grant. Employees were able to learn about energy efficiency in a range of areas including ‘Top Tips’ for reducing energy consumption at home – the no/low-cost things people can do to reduce their energy bills.

Circle K Ireland, part of the global fuel and convenience store brand Circle K, is the leading fuel and convenience retailer in Ireland.  With 2,300 employees across the country, the company is currently rebranding its 420 service stations from Topaz to Circle K.

With offices in Dublin, Galway, Cork and Belfast, Energia supplies the energy needs of 60,000 business customers and over 150,000 homes with great offers for electricity and gas customers nationwide.
