Lidl Ireland launch The Lidl Pumpkin Patch in aid of charity partner Jigsaw

A five-day unmissable experience for all the family

Lidl Ireland is delighted to announce the launch of The Lidl Pumpkin Patch this Halloween. Kicking off on Saturday 27th until Wednesday 31st October, families can avail of a spooky, fun-filled day out at The Lidl Pumpkin Patch located in Newbridge, Co. Kildare (Ladytown, Morristown Upper, Newbridge, Co. Kildare which is opposite BMW). All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to Lidls charity partner Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health.

Enter through a spooky farm house at The Lidl Pumpkin Patch into a huge field, filled with Lidls Bord Bia quality assured Irish pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. Once you have picked your favourite pumpkin, join a pumpkin carving class to create your very own pumpkin masterpiece. Guests can enjoy refreshments and feast on Lidls tasty Halloween treats while telling spooky ghost stories around the campfire.

For just 10 per adult and 6 per child, this devilish deal will include one pumpkin per person, a pumpkin carving class, complimentary refreshments, face painting, childrens entertainment and free parking on the day. The Lidl Pumpkin Patch is a five day unmissable Halloween experience. Be sure to book your tickets at jigsaw.ie/events and choose from three sessions each day; 9am to 11am / 12pm to 2pm / 3pm to 5pm. Tickets go on sale from October 3rd.

All of Lidls pumpkins are locally grown in Co. Kilkenny by Julian Hughes, Lidls pumpkin grower and supplied by Begleys. The pumpkins which are Bord Bia quality assured come in 4 different sizes and are now available to purchase in Lidls 158* stores nationwide.

All proceeds from The Lidl Pumpkin Patch will be donated directly to Jigsaw who provide free, confidential and professional support to young people between the ages of 12 and 25 in 13 locations nationwide. Lidl Ireland recently announced the launch of a three year partnership with Jigsaw, pledging to fundraise 1 million for the charity over the course of the partnership. The partnership also aims to raise awareness of Jigsaws #OneGoodAdult campaign. The One Good Adult campaign encourages young people to confide in one adult in their life, be it a parent, sibling or teacher, to gain support and advice. The campaign also encourages listening, support and awareness to become that One Good Adult for a young person.
