Kilmuckridge village strikes it lucky once again with latest lottery win

Lotto players in the seaside village of Kilmuckridge in Co. Wexford are being asked to check their Lotto tickets for last night’s draw after one lucky player won the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €108,714. The winner matched five numbers and the bonus ball, meaning they were one number short of winning the €2 million Lotto jackpot on offer.

The winning Quick Pick ticket which is now worth €108,714 was purchased on Friday 29th January at Hammel’s Centra store in Kilmuckridge in Co. Wexford.

This €108,714 Lotto win is the latest in a long line of National Lottery wins at the Wexford family run store who have been in business for over 40 years. Just last December, Hammel’s Centra also sold a winning EuroMillions Plus ticket worth €500,000 which was won by a local syndicate.

Manager of Hammel’s Centra store, Chris Hammel said, “Our lucky customers are on something of a lottery hot streak at the moment. Just before Christmas, a local syndicate shared a €500,000 EuroMillions prize and to have another Lotto win so soon is just fantastic. There will be a massive buzz about the village once this news spreads so we are obviously asking all of our customers to check their tickets carefully and whoever the lucky winner is, we wish them every bit of luck with their new found fortune.”

The winning numbers from last night’s Lotto draw are: 07, 17, 21, 28, 38, 41 and the bonus number is 23.

The winning ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to get in touch with the National Lottery claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

Meanwhile, the National Lottery has reminded Lotto players in Churchtown in Dublin 14 to urgently check their Lotto tickets as a Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €15,962 from Wednesday 11th November remains unclaimed.

Ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize. The claim deadline for this prize, close of business on Tuesday 9th February is just over a week away.

The winning Quick Pick ticket from Dublin which remains unclaimed was sold at the SuperValu store on the Braemor Road in Churchtown on the day of the draw.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.8 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
