Kellogg’s expands W.K Kellogg by Kids range with new snack bar launch

Posted on: 26 Jan 2021

Kellogg’s is expanding its W.K Kellogg by Kids range with the launch of brand-new, healthy snack bars.

As part of Kellogg’s drive to encourage families to make healthier choices, the W.K Kellogg by Kids range first launched in 2020 with W.K Kellogg by Kids Multigrain Shapes Cereal, the first mainstream children’s cereal to be made with tasty fruit and veg and the No.1 cereal NPD of 2020*. Due to its popularity, Kellogg’s has expanded the range with W.K Kellogg by Kids Bars.

Made with tasty fruit and veg, wholegrains, and a source of fibre, the bars come in two flavours – Orange & Carrot and Strawberry, Raspberry & Beetroot. They contain no added sugar, no artificial colours or flavours and are less than 100 calories per bar.

Created by kids, for kids, the bars have been developed in collaborative workshops with 2,000 children and parents, ensuring the end product was something parents would be happy to buy for their children and that kids would love.

The bars are now available in Dunnes Stores – with more retailers soon to follow – at an RRP of €2.99[1] for a pack of five 22g bars.

Catriona Campbell-Voegt, nutritionist and Kellogg’s wellbeing lead said: ‘‘The kids’ market for products that are both tasty and nutritious has been mostly untapped, so we’re thrilled to be able to meet demand by expanding our W.K Kellogg by Kids range and give parents the option to buy snacks they’re confident their children will enjoy while not having to worry about them being unhealthy.’’
