Monaghan has a brand-new millionaire as lucky player scoops €1 million Lotto Plus 1 top prize

No winner of Saturday’s €13.6 million jackpot which now rolls to 10 year high next Wednesday

 

Someone in Co. Monaghan has woken up as Ireland’s latest Lotto millionaire this morning as the winning ticket for Saturday night’s Lotto Plus 1 draw, worth €1 million, was sold in the Drumlin county.

There was no winner of the €13,612,936 Lotto jackpot on offer which now which now sets to exceed €14 million (est) on Wednesday. The current Lotto jackpot has been on an incredible roll for almost three months since Wednesday 9th June. Wednesday’s estimated €14 million jackpot could become the highest jackpot on offer in over 10 years and a single winner will become the 8th highest Lotto jackpot winner in the history of the game.

Last night’s winning Lotto Plus 1 numbers which are worth €1 million to one lucky player in Monaghan were: 01, 13, 18, 30, 31, 47 and the bonus ball was 15.

With over 132,000 prize winners in last night’s Lotto draws, players throughout the country are being urged to check their tickets carefully. A National Lottery spokesperson said it hopes to reveal the name of the winning store which sold the €1 million Lotto Plus 1 top prize on Monday. 

“Lotto fever has well and truly gripped the country as the current Lotto jackpot continues to roll for almost three months. Next Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot is set to hit a 10 year high and will see the jackpot climb to over €14 million. The next winner of the Lotto jackpot will well and truly enter the Lotto hall of fame as the eight largest jackpot winner in the history of the game in Ireland. While Saturday night’s €13.6 million Lotto jackpot continues to roll, the draws still produced an incredible 132,000 prize winners, including a truly life-changing prize of €1 million for one of our lucky players in Monaghan.
