The store has been serving the local community since 1792, with Patrick Durack and Claire Pierce Durack taking over the store in November 2016. They have continued the tradition of local support and have worked with many local charities, schools and sports teams, including Ferns Men’s Shed, Fern’s Development Association, the Wexford u14 camogie development squad, both local national schools in Ferns and the local sports clubs.

As part of the significant store investment, Centra Ferns has incorporated a number of sustainability upgrades to enhance the efficiency of the store.
