The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) continues its 2025 ‘Breakfast Bite’ series of free, informal online webinars designed for small food businesses. The next session will focus on the FSAI’s new Guidance Note on Food Safety Culture which will be published soon.

Food Safety Culture will be held on Thursday, 9th of October from 10am-10:45am.

In this short webinar, the FSAI will outline the key points of the new Guidance Note and explain what it means for food businesses.  The session will also highlight the legal requirements around food safety culture and provide practical guidance on how food business operators can meet these obligations. This event is ideal for owners, managers, and staff of food businesses who want to better understand food safety culture, stay compliant with EU legal requirements, and apply best practices in their day-to-day operations.

The webinar is free of charge, and you can register and learn more at this link.

Encouraging people to sign up for the Breakfast Bite webinar, Greg Dempsey, Chief Executive, FSAI said, “Since 2021, businesses are legally required to demonstrate a commitment to food safety culture, but beyond compliance, it also builds consumer confidence and trust. This new Guidance Note is designed to support businesses in meeting their obligations while embedding best practices that protect consumers and strengthen our food system. I encourage all food business operators to attend this webinar and take full advantage of the guidance and resources available”.
