
Golden Bake, Ireland’s leading producer of premium frozen bakery products, proudly announces the opening of its cutting-edge 10,000 sq. ft. production facility in Coolock, Dublin. This transformative €10 million investment marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth trajectory, enhancing production capacity, driving sustainability, job growth and reinforcing Golden Bake’s position as a market leader.
The expansion signifies Golden Bake’s commitment to sustainability, with a projected 57.6-tonne annual reduction in CO2 emissions by substantially reducing plastic and other packaging materials. This initiative aligns with the company’s broader sustainability strategy, ensuring both operational efficiency and ecological responsibility.
As part of this expansion, Golden Bake has increased its workforce from 110 to 135 employees, reflecting the company’s continued success and market demand.
Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, Peter Burke said,

The event also celebrated the remarkable legacy of Golden Bake’s founder, Brian Manning, who started the company 38 years ago. Company CEO, Robin Jones, stated, “Golden Bake is a fantastic company and we have achieved success since 1987 as a result of the team we have in place. Brian built very solid foundations for the business and we are currently enjoying the benefits of that. We plan to continue to grow capacity and jobs while also reducing our carbon footprint”.

Golden Bake continues to evolve its consumer offering, available in major retailers nationwide, with the recent rebranding of its ‘Bake At Home’ / bakeable range, which includes iconic products such as Jambons®, Mini Sausage Rolls, and Milk Chocolate Chunk Cookies. The company also supplies a large proportion of Ireland’s hot-deli-counters, cafés, restaurants and bars. Looking ahead, Golden Bake is set to extend its range of branded ‘Bake At Home’ cookie products in major retailers later this year.
