38 jobs created with new 11,000 sq. ft. store opening in Blanchardstown
- Supermarket retailer Iceland Ireland opens its 27th store on Tuesday, 19th November, 2019 in Mountview Shopping Centre, Blanchardstown bringing 38 new jobs to the area. Just in time for Christmas, the new flagship store at just over 11,000 sq. ft., will stock hundreds of big brands as well as festive favourites such as traditional party foods, the perfect Turkey Crown; classic festive sprouts and indulgent seasonal desserts. The new store also offers a convenient free home delivery service.
In line with Iceland Ireland’s aim to be completely plastic free by 2023, this year in a market first the retailer is offering customers the choice of a reduced plastic Christmas dinner, with 14 festive treats which are entirely plastic free, and an additional six with significantly reduced plastic. In addition Iceland Ireland also has a fantastic ‘Christmas Meal Deal’ offering which includes a Turkey Joint, York Pudding, Button Sprouts, Honey Roasted Parsnips, Mashed Potato and Roast Potatoes for just €15! Not only that, Iceland Ireland’s amazing Great Turkey Give-Away is back again this year. Customers who spend €100 or more from December 1st will receive a free 5kg turkey, while stocks last – that should keep the family and visitors happy!
Earlier this year, the retailer also added 150 new and improved products to their own-label frozen range and it is also proud to continue to support over 40 Irish suppliers. Iceland Ireland is also the exclusive stockist of the Slimming World range in Ireland.
