Lidl Ireland teams up with Irish Influencers to help you dish up an unforgettable come dine with me experience this Easter

Posted on: 30 Mar 2026

Some of Ireland's most-loved social stars have teamed up with Lidl Ireland to celebrate a Deluxe Easter, sharing their expert tips and must-buy recommendations to help you prepare for an unforgettable family feast this bank holiday weekend.

This year, Lidl Ireland is proving there is more to value than just a price tag by offering a premium three-course range from indulgent starters to decadent desserts at prices that keep the focus on the festivities.

Whether you are hosting an intimate gathering or a large family celebration, Lidl’s carefully curated seasonal range is guaranteed to help you create meaningful moments and a showstopping spread that will leave everyone thoroughly impressed. By bringing together "eggs-traordinary" quality and unbeatable savings, Lidl has made it easier than ever to serve up the feast of the season.

James Patrice’s showstopping starters

James recommends kicking off your celebrations by impressing your guests with a show-stopping starter spread. You can create the ultimate grazing board using Lidl’s Deluxe Continental Cheese Selection (€2.99) alongside the rich, tangy flavours of Lidl’s Deluxe Cashel Blue (€2.29). Pair these cheeses with Lidl’s savoury Deluxe 24-Month Matured Parma Ham Platter (€5.99) and Lidl’s perfectly spiced Deluxe Salami with Pistachio (€2.69).

Finally, round off your pre-dinner spread with the classic Deluxe Paté Selection (€3.99), ensuring a delicious start to the day's festivities. To perfectly compliment the spread the Deluxe Pinot Gris from Gisborne, New Zealand (€7.49) which was awarded 87 points from Lidl’s Master of Wine Richard Bampfield is the perfect choice. Its slight sweetness and fruit-forward nature will act as a beautiful "bridge" for the saltiness of the ham and the richness of the Cashel Blue.

Irish TV presenter James Patrice has added: "You simply cannot have a spread without a bit of Cashel Blue—it is the ultimate showstopper! My go-to move is to dollop it onto a salty cracker with a drizzle of relish to really make those flavours sing.”

Gina Daly’s luxurious lunch

For the main event, Gina Daly suggests stealing the show with the succulent Deluxe West of Ireland Leg of Lamb (€14.99) — the perfect traditional centrepiece for your dining table. Gina highlights an Easter roast isn't complete without the perfect trimmings so be sure to serve your lamb alongside a choice of classic Deluxe Cornbread, Sage and Onion Stuffing (€3.29) or Lidl’s rich and creamy Deluxe Potato Gratin (€2.69).

Add a pop of vibrant colour and freshness to your plate with Lidl’s Deluxe Organic Broccoli and Garden Peas (€1.79), and bring the whole dish together with a dollop of Batts Mint Sauce (€0.86). The Hachón Ribera del Duero Reserva (€10.99), which was awarded an outstanding 93 points by Richard Bampfield, offers a rich and velvety mouthfeel with subtle vanilla notes that masterfully complement the roasted lamb.

Gina’s advice for your Easter lunch is: "Easter is all about those slow, meaningful moments around the table with the people you love. By choosing high-quality staples like a Full Leg of Irish Lamb and pairing them with effortless, crowd-pleasing sides, you can serve a luxury-tier feast that lets you spend less time worrying about the cost and more time making memories with your family."

Darren Conway’s Deluxe Desserts

When it is time for the grand finale, Darren suggests picking up Lidl’s Deluxe Sharing Dessert Selection (€4.19) to save you hovering over the oven, calling it a ”massive crowd-pleaser” that takes the stress out of hosting. Alternatively, you can easily add an elegant touch to the table by serving up Lidl's classic Deluxe Tiramisù Cups (€2.79) or the Deluxe Chocolate Glass Twinpack Desserts (€2.49) - the perfect individual indulgences for your guests. To really mark the occasion, Darren is topping things off with a bottle of Arestel Cava Brut (€13.99). This is one of Lidl’s top-tier bubblies with an 87-point rating from Master of Wine Richard Bampfield, making it the perfect crisp finish to your Easter feast.

Darren commented: "Beyond the chocolate eggs, I’m all about a dessert that everyone can dive into. My personal favourite has to be Lidl’s Profiteroles - they add that little bit of luxury to the table and are the perfect way to finish a big family meal. It’s those small, indulgent touches that make the day feel special without needing to overcomplicate things."

Easter Eggs

This Easter for shoppers looking for something really unique, try Lidl's innovative new eggs including the show-stopping Belgian Chocolate Croissant and Doughnut Eggs (€9.99) alongside the award-winning Deluxe Handmade Premium Irish Egg Collection (€11.99) from Co. Cavan. By prioritising high-cocoa Belgian chocolate and artisanal techniques, the 2026 range offers a luxury gifting experience that remains effortlessly accessible.

The collection is completed by Deluxe Irish Milk and Dark Chocolate Eggs with Gourmet Truffles (€8.99) and artisan pairings like Salted Caramel or Coffee (€6.99), ensuring premium indulgence for every taste.
