M&S 'Farm to Foodhall' continues with Co. Dublin tomato farmers

Posted on: 17 Jul 2025

M&S Food is proud to announce the next phase of its ‘Farm to Foodhall’ campaign, reinforcing its unwavering commitment to sourcing fresh, higher quality Irish produce directly from dedicated local farmers. This latest instalment introduces Co. Dublin based tomato farmers, the Foley brothers of Kilbush Nurseries, who supply M&S with their delicious Irish tomatoes, bringing even more trusted quality Irish ingredients to their Foodhalls across the country.

M&S Food Ambassador Mark Moriarty meets brothers, John and Matt Foley, from the beautiful coastal town of Rush, Co. Dublin, who supply M&S with their delicious Irish sweet Rosa Vine and vibrant Tomalini tomatoes, and classic Salad tomatoes. The viewers get an insight into how the unique sweetness of these tomatoes is attributed to their coastal sea location. Grown to a high standard with sustainability and environment at the core of their production.

There's a strong seasonal element to their growing process; young plants are carefully nurtured from January until the flowering period. The first fruits are harvested at the end of April, when the strengthening spring sunshine imbues them with their amazing flavour. John and Matt explain that they hand-pick M&S tomatoes daily to ensure the freshest local produce is available on the shelf.

The Farm to Foodhall campaign highlights just some of the farmers and producers across Ireland who supply trusted quality Irish food to M&S customers, as well as the ongoing work they’re doing to expand upon their existing range of products sourced from Ireland. In the series, viewers are invited to delve into the stories behind the incredible Farm to Foodhall products, meet some of the dedicated M&S Select Farmers, and learn more about their approach to sustainability and sourcing.

Commenting on the campaign, Laura Harper, Trading Director for M&S Ireland and Northern Ireland said: “Our Farm to Foodhall campaign continues to champion the incredible work of our M&S Select Farms in Ireland.
