Tesco Ireland customers can now pick up two new full flavour 0.0% beers – a non-alcoholic lager and pale ale - from rugby star Peter O’Mahony’s Active Brewing Company as part of their weekly shop.
The beers are available now in more than 130 Tesco stores nationwide and online, priced at a Clubcard Price of €2.50 each (RRP €2.75), and will remain part of the range after April 24th following an initial exclusive launch period.
Tesco Ireland is the first retailer in the country to stock the new range, marking an important early milestone for Active Brewing Company.
Active Brewing Company was founded in Cork after years of O’Mahony looking for full flavour non-alcoholic options that worked alongside training, recovery, and everyday life.
The team set out to create beers that deliver on taste while still feeling light and easy to enjoy. The first releases, a non-alcoholic lager and a non-alcoholic pale ale, were developed with a focus on balance, refreshment and real drinkability.
Speaking about the beers arriving in Tesco Ireland stores, Peter O’Mahony said: “Having our beers land on shelves in Tesco stores is a massive win for us. Tesco’s reach means people all over the country can pick them up as part of their normal shop and experience the product we have worked so hard to finesse. Making good non-alcoholic options accessible has been a big part of the vision from day one, so seeing that come to life in a retailer like Tesco feels incredibly rewarding. Hearing the feedback from customers over the past few weeks has been genuinely brilliant.”
With interest in non-alcoholic choices continuing to grow, the launch gives Tesco Ireland customers an easy way to try a homegrown Irish option for different moments, from midweek dinners and training days to being the designated driver, watching the match at home or catching up with friends.
Both beers are brewed in Cork and sit within Tesco Ireland’s wide range of Irish products available in stores across the country.
