There’s no mis-steak-ing quality as Tesco scoops 10 prestigious Monde Selection awards

Tesco Ireland’s 100% Irish beef range has been recognised for its incredible quality and flavour at the Monde Selection Awards in Brussels last night, with the retailer taking home 10 awards for its products.

 

Three Tesco Finest products were awarded Grand Gold - Tesco Finest Certified Irish Angus Ribeye Joint with Irish Atlantic Sea Salt & Black Pepper Rub and Sauce (32 Days Matured), Tesco Finest Angus Rib Eye Steak and Tesco Finest Angus Rib on The Bone. Grand Gold awards signify the highest level of quality recognition, awarded only to products that demonstrate exceptional quality, surpass stringent industry standards and deliver an outstanding experience for customers.

 

The retailer also took home Gold awards and International High Quality Trophy awards for its Finest fillet barrel, chateaubriand, fillet, striploin and rib eye steaks.

 

Monde is a globally renowned competition that tests consumer products from all over the world to grant them an internationally recognised stamp of quality and approval.  The panel of over 80 totally independent judges consists of Michelin starred chefs and master sommeliers, amongst other experts and professionals from a variety of disciplines.
