Irish suppliers played a central role in helping Aramark deliver innovative, efficient and high-quality services across workplaces, facilities and hospitality, with over 50 suppliers taking part in the company’s annual Supplier Showcase at Croke Park.
The event brought suppliers together with Aramark teams across food, facilities, energy and workplace services to present products, services and technologies that could be applied across client sites in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Alongside sustainability, there was a strong focus on cost-saving solutions, operational efficiency and added-value innovation.
Aramark works with more than 500 suppliers across Ireland and Northern Ireland, with Irish suppliers and SMEs making up 80% of that network. The company spends €215 million annually with Irish suppliers.
This year’s showcase highlighted a broad range of practical solutions, from food service innovation and facilities management enhancements to energy solutions and workplace technologies. Sustainability remained an important theme, including food waste management, renewable energy, electric vehicle charging and facilities services. However the event also focused on how suppliers are helping clients reduce costs, improve efficiency and enhance overall service delivery.
Suppliers taking part included Marval Power, which presented solar energy solutions to help businesses reduce energy costs and carbon footprints, and ePower, which showcased EV charging technology and services.
Stephen Brennan, VP Supply Chain & Procurement at Aramark Ireland said: “Irish suppliers are central to how we deliver for clients across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Our annual Supplier Showcase gives our teams direct access to businesses bringing forward practical ideas that improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service delivery across workplaces and facilities.
“While sustainability continues to be a key focus, what stood out this year was the breadth of innovation on display—from smarter food solutions to energy technologies and facilities services that can make a real, day-to-day difference on client sites.
“Irish suppliers and SMEs make up 80% of our supplier network, and their innovation, expertise and responsiveness are a major strength for our business.”
Michael O’Neill, Premium Partner Manager at ePower said: “Taking part in Aramark’s Supplier Showcase gave us direct access to the teams looking at new ideas and solutions for client sites. It was a valuable chance to build relationships, understand where Aramark sees demand, and demonstrate how our business can deliver added value, innovation and cost efficiencies in power generation with Solar PV and utilisation through their EV Fleet.”
