Circle K, Ireland's leading forecourt and convenience retailer, is celebrating the reopening of its newly refurbished Shannon store following an investment of over €900,000, delivering an enhanced customer experience, expanded services and greater value for the local community.
The refurbishment reinforces Circle K's ongoing commitment to investing in its retail network while providing customers with more choice, greater convenience and improved value. The redevelopment has created three new jobs and retained 12 existing roles, supporting employment and economic activity within the Shannon community.
Customers visiting the refurbished store can enjoy an enhanced food offering, including an improved hot and cold deli, an expanded hot and cold grab-and-go range, an enhanced bakery offering and an enhanced coffee experience, with a broader choice of customer favourites and speciality options such as matcha.
The investment has also significantly expanded the store's retail offering. Customers can now browse a new off-licence, open from 10:30am to 10:00pm Monday to Saturday and from 12:30pm to 10:00pm on Sundays, featuring an expanded beer range, dedicated wine chiller and an enlarged wine selection. The drinks offering has also been enhanced with a wider variety of functional beverages, including fibre-infused sparkling sodas, vitamin-enhanced waters and matcha drinks, alongside an expanded confectionery and snacks range designed to give customers even greater choice.
As part of the redevelopment, Circle K has invested in enhanced mobility services, including four EV charging points across two charging hubs and four dedicated EV parking spaces. The site also features a brand-new car wash experience, anchored by the Ultimate Wash programme, delivering superior cleaning performance and a premium finish while further strengthening the site's position as a convenient one-stop destination for customers on the move.
The investment also delivers even greater value for customers. To celebrate the reopening, Circle K Extra members can enjoy exclusive promotions from 3 July to 10 July, including 5c off fuel, coffee for €2.50, a €3 Chicken Fillet Roll and a free Pepsi with any sandwich. Customers can also take advantage of a range of popular July offers across the store, including selected soft drinks from 3 for €4 and Circle K bottled water from 3 for €3.50, alongside additional exclusive offers for Circle K Extra members.
The refurbished store has been carefully designed to meet the evolving needs of local residents, commuters and visitors to the area, combining an expanded retail offer with enhanced mobility services to provide a modern, convenient shopping experience.
