A Lotto player in County Limerick has become Ireland’s 1st Lotto jackpot winner of 2023 after they won the truly life-changing prize of €11,106,438 in Wednesday night’s draw.
The National Lottery are urging Lotto players in the county of Limerick to check their tickets to see if they are the winner of this incredible jackpot sum.
The winning numbers for Wednesday’s (4th January) draw were: 18, 29, 36, 38, 40, 43 and the bonus was 30.
The National Lottery will reveal the winning store at a celebratory event in Co. Limerick on Friday morning.
The National Lottery has also confirmed that Ireland’s first Lotto jackpot winner of 2023 has yet to make contact and has urged all Lotto players in County Limerick to urgently check their tickets to see if they are the winners of the €11.1 million jackpot.
The Limerick winner should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email email@example.com and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.
In total, over 82,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws last night.
A National Lottery spokesperson this morning said: “This is an absolutely dream start to 2023 for one of our players in Co. Limerick. In the past 12 months, we have seen an incredible 19 millionaires made in the Lotto game alone but this is certainly one of the biggest! This morning, we are appealing to all our players to check their tickets carefully and if you are the winner, sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team as soon as possible.”
