Heinken® GREENLIGHT heads to Galway for its final bank holiday takeover of 2026

Posted on: 30 Sep 2026

Heineken® GREENLIGHT heads west this October bank holiday weekend, bringing three nights of live music to Galway City for its final stop of 2026, running from 23–25 October. The line-up will see Getdown Services, HAAi, Joshua Idehan, Sugabooo, Ahmed, With Love., Hannah Hession and more acts take to stages across some of Galway’s best-loved music venues.

With 55+ acts already having performed across Dublin and Cork this year, the Galway City takeover will close out  the Heineken® GREENLIGHT 2026 series. Nine acts will take to stages across four venues throughout the October bank holiday weekend, bringing an eclectic mix of established and emerging talent to audiences across the city.

Throughout 2026, Heineken® GREENLIGHT has reimagined the traditional live music format, taking performances more commonly associated with large-scale festivals and bringing them into the heart of Ireland’s cities. Its city-wide format invites fans to move between venues, discovering different artists, genres and atmospheres throughout the weekend, while experiencing acts in more intimate settings.

Fiona Curtin, Marketing Director at HEINEKEN Ireland commented: “We’re delighted to see Heineken® GREENLIGHT resonate with consumers across Dublin and Cork this year, bringing people together through live music and shared experiences. As we head to Galway for the final stop of 2026, we’re excited to bring that same spirit to a city with such a strong and distinctive music culture, with a line-up that brings together some of the most exciting names in the scene.”

Heineken® has long supported music culture in Ireland, from major festival partnerships to iconic live experiences, including Heineken® Green Spheres, Heineken® Green Energy and Heineken® Sound Atlas. This year, HEINEKEN Ireland also entered into a new partnership with Aiken Promotions and POD Festivals, securing pouring rights at Aiken and POD Events including Live at the Marquee, the Iveagh Gardens concert series, All Together Now and Forbidden Fruit. The partnership builds on HEINEKEN Ireland’s long-standing involvement in Ireland’s live entertainment sector, while Heineken® GREENLIGHT brings that commitment into a new generation of intimate, city-based music experiences.
