Ornua, owner of Kerrygold, Ireland’s only billion-euro food brand, has kicked off its search for the organisation’s next generation of leaders through its 2021 Graduate Programme. The programme seeks 13 qualified applicants for roles across business functions – from procurement to marketing and from ICT to sales – in seven countries and four continents. Eight of the 13 positions will be based away from the co-op’s Dublin headquarters in Germany, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain and the U.S. (Chicago).

The Ornua Graduate Programme is an 18-month programme which offers graduates a chance to build a range of business skills and gain valuable experience in one of Ireland’s most exciting businesses.  Ornua is proud to cultivate long-term global careers for its employees and its graduate programme provides the first step for ambitious graduates who wish to progress their career within the food industry. Several of the co-op’s current senior leaders entered the business through the programme.

Headquartered in Dublin, Ornua is Ireland’s largest exporter of Irish dairy products. For over 55 years, Ornua has been providing global opportunities and international careers to its proud and passionate team who bring the unique taste of grass-fed Irish dairy to the world.

Majella Darcy, Chief People Officer, Ornua commented “This is a wonderful opportunity for 13 talented and ambitious graduates to begin exciting and fulfilling careers here at Ornua. Working at Ornua means bringing the taste of Ireland’s unique grass-fed milk to the world and delivering value for the farming families that produce it.

“We are delighted to be in a position to offer these 13 places on our industry-leading programme during these challenging times. The programme has been a route for many in our business into vibrant and sustainable careers at home in Ireland and around the world.”

Candidates on the Ornua Graduate Programme will receive formal training and will be individually mentored by a member of Ornua’s senior management team. The Graduate Programme began taking applications on 14th September 2020 and will close for applications on 23rd October 2020 with successful applicants taking up their position in Autumn of 2021.
