O'Donnells, the creators of Ireland's most awarded crisps, is delighted to announce this partnership with renowned chef, bestselling author and broadcaster Rachel Allen, with the launch of two brand-new limited-edition crisp flavours created in collaboration with Rachel: Sea Salt & Truffle and Sunday Roast.
Bringing together O'Donnells' passion for premium ingredients and Rachel Allen's love of quality, flavour-led cooking, the collaboration celebrates the very best of Irish food. Rachel Allen curated and crafted these two limited-edition flavours, honing their flavour profiles to perfection. Inspired by comforting family meals and elevated everyday flavours, the two new hand-cooked crisp varieties offer a fresh take on classic favourites. Perfect for shared moments, these crisps were created to be enjoyed with family and friends, and the flavours help turn everyday snacking into elevated, memorable experiences.
The elegant Sea Salt & Truffle flavour combines earthy truffle notes with perfectly balanced sea salt for a luxurious snacking experience, while the rich, indulgent Sunday Roast captures the nostalgic flavours of a traditional Irish roast dinner in every bite. Available for a limited time only, the new flavours invite crisp lovers to enjoy something truly special.
The O’Donnells originally started their farming tradition more than 300 years ago in Seskin Farm, Co. Tipperary. And seven generations later, continue to innovate and bring exciting new products to the crisps market.
The launch marks an exciting new partnership with Rachel Allen to celebrate a shared commitment to quality ingredients, Irish produce and bringing people together through great food.
Kate O'Donnell, of O'Donnells crisps, said:
"We're incredibly excited to partner with Rachel Allen and to launch this collaboration together. Rachel shares our passion for celebrating quality Irish ingredients and creating food that brings people together, making this partnership a natural fit. Her vast experience, delicious cooking and commitment to quality align perfectly with what O'Donnells stands for, and we can't wait for people across Ireland to experience the collaboration."
Rachel Allen added:
"As a long-time lover of O'Donnells Crisps, I was absolutely thrilled to be asked to collaborate on their new flavours - a true treat from a brand I adore! I've always believed that great food is about bringing people together, so partnering with O'Donnells felt like the perfect collaboration. Their crisps are made with such care for quality, so creating these flavours has been a real pleasure. I wanted to develop flavours that I'd genuinely reach for myself - one that's rich and indulgent in Sunday roast, and another that is a flavour of crisps that we would make ourselves at home in Sea Salt and Truffle. I hope people enjoy sharing them with family and friends as much as I've enjoyed creating them."
Following the success of last year's Hot Honey Fusion flavour which was awarded the New Product Development Awards at the All-Ireland Marketing Awards, O’Donnells crisps are in line for another impressive year. Both Sea Salt & Truffle and Sunday Roast have been shortlisted for the Irish Quality Food and Drinks Award 2026.
O'Donnells crisps remain proudly gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly, made without artificial colours, flavours, MSG or GM ingredients.
The new Sea Salt & Truffle and Sunday Roast flavours are available nationwide for a limited time.
