Centra is rolling into summer with a fresh new food-to-go, announcing the arrival of Sushi Circle in participating stores.
Bringing together fresh grab and go sushi rolls and poke bowls, the new range is set to give Irish shoppers a delicious new option for lunch, dinner, desk dining, park picnics and those “I want something quick, but not sad” moments.
The Sushi Circle range landing in Centra includes flavour-packed options such as Chicken Katsu Rolls, Crunchy Salmon Rolls, Spicy Prawn Rolls, Classic Salmon Poke, Chicken & Grilled Pepper Poke, Sweet Chilli Chicken Rice Bowl, Rainbow Veggie Sushi Selection.
The move comes as Irish shoppers increasingly look for food-to-go options that deliver on freshness, flavour and convenience. From colourful poke bowls on social feeds to sushi rolls becoming a go-to lunch for Gen Z and young professionals, the appetite for lighter, globally inspired convenience food is only growing.
Internationally, the trend is already well established. In Japan, convenience stores have long been known for high-quality fresh food, with sushi, rice balls and ready-to-eat meals forming part of everyday retail culture. Now, Irish convenience is getting its own fresh upgrade, as Centra brings a more exciting grab-and-go offer to shoppers across the country.
