Jameson Irish Whiskey announce partnership with NTS Radio’s REMOTE UTOPIAS; a global 24-hour radio festival

Posted on: 29 Apr 2020

Irish hip hop artist Rejjie Snow and folk singer Maria Somerville join line up of over 50 global acts

Jameson Irish Whiskey announces a creative collaboration with NTS Radio for their digital age music festival; REMOTE UTOPIAS. The festival, a 24-hour live radio broadcast taking place on Saturday May 2nd , aims to connect artists across the world for a series of live performances and musical experiences with Irish artists REJJIE SNOW and MARIA SOMERVILLE joining the line-up,  broadcasting live from Ireland for the first time between 11:15am- 12:15pm.

The festival will be streamed straight to your sofa with Jameson helping to support artists hit hardest by COVID 19, with the broadcast also raising funds for The Global Food Banking Network.

REMOTE UTOPIAS will be broadcast live at nts.live whilst Jameson’s co-curated shows will be available through Jameson Connects: The Stay Inn, a virtual communal platform for fans to connect through culture, craic and curated content. Bringing together a collective of musicians, DJs, artists and filmmakers from across the globe; REMOTE UTOPIAS is a global collective effort to connect and support communities of music lovers around the world.

Music, like Jameson, is meant to be shared. No matter where you’re from or who you’re with.

As the world has gone into shutdown, all gigs, festivals and tours have been cancelled. This has placed major pressure on creatives, musicians and artists alike. In aid of the creative and cultural community, Jameson are delighted to be supporting NTS Radio. The funds raised will go towards artists in need of support. From our cultural collaborators to emerging and established talent, REMOTE UTOPIASwill put money directly into the pockets of musicians, during a period of unprecedented uncertainty within the music industry.
