World class festival comes to Ireland for the first time

Diageo Reserve’s World Class has announced that the global World Class Cocktail Festival is coming to Ireland for the first time in 2023. The Luxury Spirits brand is bringing a host of exciting acts, venues, and unexpected experiences to surprise and delight attendees in over 50 bars and venues in Dublin, with key events taking place nationwide. Taking place from the 4th - 6th of May 2023, the World Class Festival boasts an incredible line-up featuring some of the biggest international and Irish names in the food and drink arena, ahead of the World Class Irish Final on Monday 8th May.

This highly anticipated festival will take place at several iconic restaurants and bars across the nation, promising to be the most captivating celebration of food and drink to date.

 

Some of the key experiences include an unforgettable Tanqueray tasting at House, Dublin with Tanqueray brand ambassador, Pippa Guy where attendees are invited to indulge in a set menu of expertly crafted cocktails. Ketel One will host a sustainability led cocktail and food pairing experience aimed at zero waste taking place in Bovinity Dublin, while whiskey connoisseurs will delight in an immersive experience of whiskey tastings and cocktails hosted by Roe & Co whiskey experts in the Roe & Co Distillery.  

 

The World Champion Bartender, Adrián Michalčík will be guest appearing at Cask in Cork and 9 Below in Dublin showcasing an eclectic mix of cocktails, while BAR 1661 will experience their very own guest appearances. Both experiences will offer locals the opportunity to sample drinks from the best bartenders in the world.

 

For those looking to see this year’s Irish World Class finalists in action, guests can delight in a delicious Ron Zacapa rum and dessert pairing experience in partnership with an Irish chocolatier in venues nationwide such as Paladar Cork, Three Storey Dublin and The Merchant, Belfast. 

 

The festival comprises of complimentary and ticketed events, as well as other tasting experiences including; a Ketel One Bloody Mary brunch in Nolita and a delightful tequila tasting experience highlighting the Don Julio range at Cask in Cork, just to name a few.
